Ok, it’s probably no secret that the fitness industry (myself included) doesn’t mind a cheeky dig at the other domains and choice of training protocols within the sport of “fitness”.

There has always been and always will be a “friendly” rivalry over who does it better and how people should train, with a strong bias towards their sport of choice. (referring to Crossfit, bodybuilding, powerlifting, oly lifting etc, Zumba etc.)

Much like everyone who follows Footy thinks that their code is the best.

So, this blog post is aimed at giving you an unbiased opinion and allowing you to choose for yourself whether you’d be more suited to bodybuilding in a globo gym, or better suited to a smaller private coaching facility or a combo between the 2.

Pros of ‘globo’ gyms

1. Machines. The abundance of machines make it almost impossible to screw up the form and hurt yourself. I’m not saying it can’t be done, there are a lot of clumsy people out there, but they do make it a lot easier.
